PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
1. About our Sanitary Valves
Sanitary valves are designed for use in applications requiring
clean or sterile processing.
In order for a valve be considered sanitary it must NOT have
crevices or cavities that can trap media which bacteria can feed on
and multiply.
The wetted surfaces (that contact the process media) must be
polished and radiuses must be of a minumum size to avoid media
clinging or entrapment.
While plastic, brass, and other materials are acceptable for use in
sanitary applications, stainless steel is preferred by most.
Our sanitary valve types include butterfly, 2-way ball, 3-way ball,
and angle seat valves. Some of the common sanitary valve

2. Description
The sanitary ball valve is a full port, 316 stainless steel,
Tri-clamp end ball valve. It can be equipped with a manual handle
or with direct mount pneumatic or electric actuators.
The direct mount valve eliminates the valve-actuator mounting kit,
which adds unnecessary height and expense.
A full range of accessory items are available including limit
switches, solenoid valves, positioners and manual override devices.

1/2", 3", 4")
DN15 to DN100 (DN15, DN20, DN25, DN40, DN50, DN65, DN80, DN100)
Valve body can be AISI 304 or AISI 316L.
Valve seat: (PTFE)
Max. working pressure: 145psi (10bar)
Temperature range: -4 ~ 302°F (-20 ~ 150°C), -22 ~ 392°F (-30 ~
200°C) option.
End connections: tri-clamp / tri-clamp, others available upon
request.
Surface treatment: Ra 16 ~ 32µin (0.4 ~ 0.8µm), Ra 32µin is the
default.
Direct 2-way body.
Handle: 180°rotary handle.
